Want an engaging way for students to learn their math facts to ten? Looking for a fun first month of school activity to review basic math facts to ten? Try a game! Using a Wii and the bowling game, or any bowling app on your phone, or even this bowling website:
your students can bowl their way to knowing basic ten facts forwards and backwards!
This 2 sided worksheet allows students to record their rolls, determine and record how many pins they need to get to ten after their first roll, write the math equation that shows their roll and how many more they need, and then even extends their knowledge by asking them to add together their first and second rolls to figure out how many pins they knocked down in each frame. The tenth frame allows students to even go one step further by adding up three rolls!
