Bowling for Columbine Movie Questions and Activities
Use this handout to encourage and promote students' critical thinking skills while watching the movie "Bowling for Columbine." Two activities will have students research gun control and answer thought-provoking questions about the issue. Other topics explored include: fear, racism, teen violence, and the influence of video games, movies, and music. Questions asked: who is to blame in a school shooting? How can these horrific events be prevented?
This can be an opener for a persuasive writing piece or classroom debate.
