Box of Chocolates: An open-ended Valentine's Day activity by SLP Chelsea
This is an adorable open-ended reinforcer to use in February for Valentine's Day! It can be coupled with any task and can be used by General Education teachers, Special Education teachers, parents, Speech-Language Pathologists and Occupational Therapists!
-Print and laminate all “Happy Valentine’s Day” mats (pages 3-8). There are 6 mats included in this packet, so make extra copies if you need more.
-Print, laminate and cut out chocolate sets for each mat (pages 9-11). There are 3 chocolate set pages included in this packet (2 per page), so make extra copies if you need more.
-Use clear/white velcro to adhere chocolates to corresponding chocolates in the squares on the “Happy Valentine’s Day” mats.
-Use as an open-ended reinforcement for any activity! The students can earn one chocolate for each task you ask them to complete (e.g. articulation cards, language cards, math facts, sight words, etc.)
