This is a write-a-long I created for Paul Andersen's "Solving Hardy Weinberg Problems" (11:08). The students fill in the blanks as they go and solve the sample problems with Paul.
At the end, they have two problems to solve on their own (which are not part of the video). The first has the answers nearby and upside-down, encouraging them to try the problem on their own and self-check their progress with solving the problem. The second is a simple problem, but without the answers, that they should try to solve and bring to class completed the next day.
I have my AP Bio student watch this at home the night before discussing the H-W equation in class to help front-load the material.
