I love brag tags! This is a great way to have students work towards a goal! I print these 100 brag tags (6 pages) for each student who needs to learn these sight words. I put them in an envelope, and students practice them with me, an aide or volunteer. I like them to be able to read it several times before they earn the word permanently for their brag tag ring or chain. As they add them to their collection the remainder in the envelope gets smaller or new words can be added. The students have a reminder of their accomplishment and hard work!
Also included are 7 bonus tags! See Brag tags Dolch Set 1 (1-100)
Problem: I needed a way to reward positive behavior, academic achievement and special events. I wanted something that didn’t involve expensive prizes, candy or a lot of time and effort.
Solution: Brag Tags!
These little dog tag–like cards are great incentives and are easy to make!
Give each child a beaded chain (available at craft stores or Amazon. (I got 100 chains for under $28 on Amazon, then I only
have to get chains every few years. Binder rings work well too!
Copy brag tags on cardstock.
I use a scrapbooking corner rounder punch to give that cute rounded corner look. I got mine at Target.
The students love being able to show off their progress and good behavior and remenber special events!
