I use Brain Breaks in my classroom throughout the day to keep my students feeling refreshed and ready to learn. The breaks are a great way to transition from one activity to another or to simply “re-boot” the brain when students seem to be losing focus.
Print off the cards, laminate them and store them in a "Brain Break Jar" on teachers desk. Students who are modeling desired behaviours are chosen to pick a break card from the jar at Brain Break Time.
I've included a blank template so teachers can create/add their own ideas to Brain Break Cards.
