Brain Break! Your students will love this brain break and will ask for it over and over! It is super easy and super fun. Active listening and swift reactions are key and your students will love the challenge!
I have included two options for the playing pieces.
If you would like to make a permanent set to use over and over, simply run the colorful cars on cardstock, laminate, and cut out. Each student will need a set (6 cars) for playing. Your students can help by cutting them out before playing the first time. Store each set in a baggie, library pocket, or envelope for years of fun.
You can also use the black and white version by having your students color the cars.
Begin by asking students to line up the cars based on the order under Lap 1 (blue, red, yellow, green).
Then begin reading the directions below that lap. Students will move the cars based on the order you call out.
The fun really begins as you increase the speed at which you call out the moves. You’ll really just need to play around your increases based on the age of your students and how well they are doing.
Complete directions included.
