Get kids up and moving with this one-prep activity! Great for a PE class, indoor recess, or a brain break!
Print, laminate, and cut apart the cards. Done! I've included both a color and a black and white format.
When you’re ready to play, place one card on each child’s desk. You might have them stand away from the desks if you want the tasks to be a “surprise”.
Point out to students that you’ve place the cards in order and you want them to move in correct numerical order. It’s helpful to think about your traffic pattern to avoid students piling up or running into each other.
Consider discussing an appropriate noise level as students move and perform tasks.
Have students go back to their desks. Give the signal to begin.
Give them an appropriate amount of time to read the task and perform the activity. Then say, “Scoot!” Students move to the next desk in the predetermined order.
Students will want to play again and again!
