If you need a quick and easy brain break, give this activity a try! When students need a brain break, simply read a card out loud. Give students about 2 minutes to group themselves. Students will love grouping themselves in ways like favorite food, number of pets, and favorite sport. After grouping, have students share how they grouped themselves. Don't forget to join them! There are 32 ideas for students to group themselves by. You can use 1 or more if you would like during each brain break. This is a quick brain break that the students enjoy but takes up very little time.

To prepare this brain break for use simply print on card stock and laminate. Store the cards in a basket or attach them to large craft sticks.
