These are little brain break cards that you just cut out and put each one on a Popsicle Stick. You can then put all the Popsicle sticks into a cup and randomly choose one when you give the student a break. This strategy is something that my students get excited about because they never know which break they will pull out. I tell the student if they are part of the group for ten/fifteen minutes showing whole body listening, meaning they are sitting criss-cross applesauce on the rug, raising a quiet hand, listening to the teacher then they can go on a special break. Students eventually learn to ask for a break when needed and when they have more body awareness. You can pull a student when you notice they are becoming a bit fidgety and have then choose three brain breaks to have.
