This set of 100 Brain Breaks task cards are filled with over 250 active games, exercises, and creative movement to help your kids regain focus after periods of sitting. These activities are not only fun but beneficial for learning. Studies have shown that brain breaks activate the mind, reduce behavior problems, and help to relieve stress.
Here's what the task card set contains:

Most of the task cards require no extra equipment. Any extra equipment needed can be found in most classrooms like a ball, a meter stick, recycled paper, or music.
You can use these activities any time your class needs some movement. Studies do suggest that kids need to get moving every 20 – 30 minutes for optimal learning, so my advice is to use them often! You can grab one card or two in random order or do them sequentially. It's also fun for kids to be able to choose one of the cards.
The task cards can be printed in color or grayscale and can be laminated so they'll last longer. A large baggie is great to store them in or you could hole punch each card's corner and put them all on a ring. A plastic shoe box also works really well to keep them organized.
These task cards are great from a scientific viewpoint, as movement stimulates the brain's pathways and helps both sides of the brain to work together. From a kid's viewpoint though, it's just plain fun!
I am thrilled to share these with you and hope they'll be really helpful in your classroom like they have been in mine.
