This is a webquest meant to help students discover the location and functions of the brain along with exploring the latest research in brain development. It can be used with any Biology, Psychology, or AP Psychology course.
Students are asked to visit a variety of websites to learn information regarding brain parts, brain functions, and brain development over time. Major tasks include describing the purpose of various brain areas and labeling their location on a diagram. Additionally, students will learn about neuroimaging techniques and research how the brain physically matures during childhood.
