The following worksheets are designed to accompany the video “Bill of Rights” on BrainPop.com and include video notes, translations, matching questions, comprehension questions, and a student summary section.
Students will be engaged as they watch through cloze-style note taking. The layout of the worksheet follows a Cornell note taking style, complete with topic, essential question, two-column notes, and a concluding summary at the end.
There are three versions of the worksheet attached so that you can show a single video but offer a differentiated product for the diverse learners in your classroom. Worksheets are for students who may fall into one of three categories:
• RED group – labeled (R): emerging English language learners (students working on translating words or simple sentences)
• WHITE group – labeled (W): students requiring modified assignments; expanding English language learners (students working on writing sentences or simple paragraphs)
• BLUE group – labeled (B): students able to complete work at or above grade level; bridging English language learners (students working on writing multiple paragraphs or preparing for reclassification)
You will find an answer key attached.
