This lesson is to be used as a real-world application activity AFTER you have taught the specifics on the Constitution. Students will be able to apply their knowledge of the Constitution by using local and national newspapers to investigate and identify the level and branches of government by reading through the articles. Students will be able to determine if the branch of government is (local, state, or federal), (legislative, executive, or judicial), (Article 1, Article 2, or Article 3 of the Constitution), and also be able to identify the section within the Article of the Constitution.
