This is a 3-part assessment of the three branches of government.
In part one; students must match the correct vocabulary word to the definition. The vocabulary terms are judicial branch, legislative branch, executive branch, checks and balances, democracy, House of Representatives, senate, government, amendment, and constitution.
Part 2 is multiple choice. There are eight questions in this section.
Part 3 is the essay section. Students must answer two questions. The first one is about how voting rights have changed over time. The second essay question is about an important issue the student would like to discuss with the president.
