Branches of Government Unit for Special Education ELEMENTARY

Branches of Government unit includes over 150 pages and 16 google slides of material for students with autism and other special learning needs and was updated following the 2020 election. These materials are designed to allow students with multiple levels of learning to access and engage in social studies lessons on the 3 branches of government.

There are many opportunities for students with disabilities to engage in repeated information on the duties and powers of our government. This repetition encourages a true understanding of how our government is structured.

Finally, many of the branches of government activities and assessments include more than one version, suggestions for differentiation, and options for presentation which is critical for the success of our students with autism.

This unit has digital versions of the printable activities. There are 16 google slides and movie versions of all the books included in this unit.
