Copy these break cards and cut vertically and horizontally to have 4 break cards to each page. Give one (or more) to students who are frequently needing a break from class to reduce the amount of time that they are outside of the classroom. This card is a nonverbal cue to teachers that students need some support from them. It helps track how many breaks a student needs, whether the student leaves the classroom or not. Counselors can easily track all of the breaks to provide data to teachers, parents, students, or 3rd party providers.
