Grade level suggestions:
2nd/3rd grade- It would be best to complete the tasks more as a whole group. This would be great to do a challenge a day and include a teach piece before it. Students may need help with reading since the sentences come straight from the book.
4th grade- This would be good for 4th grade on level students to work through independently. This could also be done in a smaller group with below level students or ELLs.
5th grade/6th grade- This would be great to do with a small group of below grade level or ELL students. Students can work through it independently with prompting and review when needed.
This activity can be done with groups or as a whole class activity. It can be completed in one day, or can be completed throughout the week, doing one challenge a day.
