This scavenger hunt introduces students to the famous Thorne Rooms, historically accurate American and European miniature rooms commissioned by Narcissa Thorne between 1932 and 1940 and crafted by master artisans according to her specifications.

The adventure begins in the Art Institute of Chicago where the Thorne Rooms are on display. As art treasure hunters, your students will work together to solve 6 puzzles to locate the secret hidden objects. Throughout the challenge they will learn about the Narcissa Thorne, the artist and The Thorne Rooms, learn a bit of world history and reveal the hidden magical objects that bring the past back to life and catch a thief!
