Activity covering 10 most important vocabulary words found in our third week of reading .
We complete the front side of this activity together in class -- using context to determine the meaning of vocab. words (in bold) in sentences. Students fill in appropriate definitions on their own papers.
Then, as homework for the week, by Friday, students are required to choose ONE of the activities from the back of the half sheet of paper (there are 4 choices).
These activities are intended to further enhance comprehension, as students are required to use the words in a variety of ways.
