PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Last year, my fifth graders enjoyed this "Bring an Idiom to School Day" activity. They brought simple items, such as a ball with the picture of an eye taped to it (eye on the ball), or a potato chip that they placed on their shoulder (chip on my shoulder). Some of the students went all out. For example, one student dressed as Elvis - when it was her turn to present her idiom, she sang "Blue Suede Shoes" and then walked out of the classroom (Elvis has left the building). Fun, fun, fun!
