Language: Stadium, Band, Artist, Style, Member, Perform, Popular, Arena, Classically trained, Festival, Solo, Customer service
Material: Power point and a 3 minute video file
Time duration: 45 minutes
Lead in: I will show the opening slide and I will get the students to guess the content of the lesson, they will then need to identify the name of the picture and what you can actually do there. The answers I am looking for are: Stadium and you can watch/listen to live music there
Clarifying the slides and teaching the meaning throughout the whole lesson.
Drilling: listen and repeat.
A controlled practice: writing, reading and speaking (The teacher will be observing the students for behaviour and neatness as they write).
Listening and observation skills: Students need to pay attention throughout the whole lesson.
Conclusion: The lesson will be reviewed via a short 3 minute video, the students will then be asked a question once the video finishes. The question will be: Can you name the band we just saw? They should know the answer to this as it will be covered in the lesson.
Adaption: Announce the games and the video.
