This project is meant for a 12th Grade British Literature and Composition course. It asks students to work in a team to practice their analysis, writing, collaborative, and communication skills. It offers a choice board with six options for students to choose from. The assignments range from studying and analyzing lyrics from popular British music to studying and analyzing classics such as Charles Dickens or the Bronte sisters.
This group project allows students to engage in personalized learning. They choose their own path as well as the specifics within that path. They also choose from seven assessment options to show what they have learned. They are held accountable with a group-created calendar.
This assignment sheet does not include rubrics/scoring guides, as that is something that each teacher must determine for him/herself depending on the level of the students and the standards enforced by the school system.
