PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

I love this project for quick stories! It also helps students learn how to introduce sound bites while writing to video. A procedures handout will walk you through the steps and give recommendations.

Students will create a VOSOT with this project. A VOSOT consists of a voice over by the reporter on camera followed by one sound bite from a subject. Students will brainstorm, plan, perform interviews, and edit their story with a voice over and the sound bite at the end. Planning documents and grading rubric included.

I also included script examples for students to compare a VO, VOSOT, and Package. The script can be used as a model for what students turn in as well.

The first 5 seconds of any video should consist of the following:
4 seconds of black
15 frame (half second) slate (with slug of video)
15 frames of black

*included in the project bundle
