This Bronsted Lowry acid base worksheet teaches how the hydrogen atoms move within an acid bases reaction. The student can look at the product and reactant sides of the reaction and see how the hydrogens are increasing or decreasing within a species. Acid/base chemistry of the Bronsted acids is all about the flow of the hydrogen molecule, so use this worksheet to help students see that.
It would be best to use this acids and bases worksheet after explaining the Bronsted acid/base process and have the students work through one example in class and finish the rest as classwork or take the rest home as homework.
