Brown Bear Brown Bear
is one of my students’ favorite stories about colors. With that in mind, I designed “Brown Bear’s Colors".
There are two
black & white booklet options, which feature all of the colorful characters in the Brown Bear
There’s a blank square with lines
in one version, where older students can think of 3 items that are also that color, then write them in the space provided, while younger students can simply trace the words
with the matching crayon or maker, in the other option.
I’ve provided pages in color
as well, so that you can quickly and easily make a sample to share.
Besides using the patterns to make a booklet
, you can also cut the 4 sections out and then glue them on a matching sheet of construction or scrapbook paper. (Sample picture in PREVIEW).
These can be hung up as a single poster
or put together like a quilt
. Use the color pattern pages, or have students help you make this display by coloring one of the pages.
You can keep this as just a Brown Bear
booklet of colors, featuring only the characters in the book, or— so that you have all of the colors represented, I’ve included pink and gray pattern pages as well.
There are also templates for alternate “colour” and “grey” spellings.
I’m Diane from Teach With Me, hoping your kiddos enjoy learning colors and color words with Brown Bear.
