Bubble Lesson Plan (STEM)
This science lesson is all about inventions.
You can have the students watch MEET THE ROBINSONS to help introduce them to inventions and science.
Next, use the worksheet for the students to brainstorm how to make a bubble wand.
The top box is a circle map for the students to write or draw their ideas (Such as what materials to use, what shapes they need, how to put it together)
The materials are on the left side of the paper. They can write down what they are going to use. (You can use various things in your classroom. Don’t forget to include things that might not work so the students can make changes.)
Popsicle sticks, pipe cleaners, coil, foam, construction paper, straws, rubber bands, tape, glue, grids
The students draw and label a picture of their inventions.
After testing their inventions, have them brainstorm how to improve their inventions. Give them time to change and test again.
