PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

I made this coloring sheet to add an extension to an inquiry bubble gum lab. I let my students design a lab with pieces of bubble gum. When they finished, we discussed the sugars in bubble gum and amylase in our mouths. The main things I wanted to introduce were that enzymes and water in our saliva stay unchanged in their shape and can be used again while the sugars become become monosaccharides or smaller units. I used this the first week of school in the scientific method unit.
