Product Description
Bubbles blowing, floating, popping…Bubbles up, Bubbles down, Bubbles going all around!

This is an interactive lesson in bubble making loaded with visual prompts and cues…ideal for students who need extra visuals to comprehend content and/or express ideas. Students will use communication boards to predict, measure, experiment, sequence, and share opinions. Includes:

-Communication Boards to guide students through the Bubble Experiment: GUESS the activity, COLLECT the materials, and TRY the experiment

-Pocket chart strips to sequence first, next, then, and last steps. Can differentiate the sequencing skill by cutting apart the sequence word from the action for student to either match pictures to sequence or to use the visuals to make predictions.

-Communication Boards to review the experiment and express opinions. One board reviews what was made, materials used, and the order of steps. The next board is used to express opinions for the favorite bubble tool and favorite step of the experiment. Can be used as an example and for choice making. Another option would be to print and copy the opinion board in B/W and let the students circle or color their choices.

-Student Template for experiment review and expressing opinions. This is a blank template of the communication boards, letting student make choices and cut/glue or draw/write their answers.

-Graph for the group to chart their favorite bubble tool and step of the process. Discuss which one received the most and least votes.

-Pocket chart vocabulary strips to preview, teach, and review words used within this experiment
Choice board including scissors, glue, crayons, take a turn, yes, no, like, don’t like

** 5 cups of water may be too big of a batch for your needs if you have a smaller group, so I have added supplemental pages in case you would like to reduce the volume of the batch of bubbles. Some of these visuals are non-specific to the measurement of soap and water so that you may be more flexible depending on your needs. I also added a materials page for 1/8 c and ¼ c soap.
