In this packet, there are weekly focus questions that help students reflect on appropriate behavior and how to be a bucket filler. I have used this activity in my dual immersion classes with the book How Full is Your Bucket by Carol McCloud. After reading this story, I use two buckets to separate bucket filling ideas from bucket dipper ideas. The students enjoy doing this activity and take a vested interested in becoming bucket fillers themselves. We use the bigger focus questions as a way to reflect on how our classroom community can become bucket fillers inside and outside our classroom. This activity is in both English and Spanish.
