I LOVE using bucket fillers in my classroom. I usually introduce these notes in the beginning of the year when we read our bucket fillers book & sign our bucket fillers contract!
Students use the notes to write when they see another student being a bucket filler, or when someone was a bucket filler to them. Then they put them in our class bucket :)
I pull a couple notes as time permits after we pack up each day and read them to the class. This helps promote classroom community, not to mention the students LOVE having their note being read to the class.
