How I used it:
We read “Have You Filled a Bucket Today?: A Guide to Daily Happiness for Kids” by Carol McCloud as a whole class. We had a discussion which followed so we could talk about the book and so that all my students could share their thoughts and ideas.
I explain that there would be a classroom bucket as well as bucket filler strips available for students to fill out and place in the bucket whenever they caught someone else being a bucket-filler.
During morning meeting every Monday, I would randomly select 3 strips to read out loud and gave them to whoever filled someone else’s bucket.
