When your bucket is full, you are happy and when your bucket is empty, you may be sad. Bucket Filling is the perfect way to get your kids thinking about their feelings, and how their actions can truly impact everyone, including his/herself. I highly suggest trying out this character education program within your classroom and school!
This poster, along with the amazing clip art (by TpT seller Pigknit), explains to students how they can each keep his/her bucket overflowing!
Blowing this up to a poster size and placing it on a bulletin board from the very beginning of the school year will ensure students are always thinking about how they can keep filling buckets all school year long!
Also included is a peer Bucket Filling Nomination form. These can be copied and placed next to your bulletin board, where kids can take a slip and write how a classmate helped fill a bucket within your classroom!
Now includes two pennants that you can display in your classroom all year long. There is one included that asks students to write about how they can be a bucket filler and another (for younger students) where students can draw a picture of themselves being a bucket filler. Teachers, all you will need is a long ribbon or string to attach the pennants to, and you have yourself a reminder to students of how they can constantly be bucket fillers!
