Bud, Not Buddy - Living in the Great Depression includes two extension activities for this great middle grades novel about a boy on his own during the 1930s. For the first activity, Picturing Life in a Hooverville, students create a six-frame storyboard with their own drawings and captions. The second activity consists of two writing prompts - one about Bud's life on his own and an alternate ending to the story, and the other one about jazz music.

The Easel version is ready-to-use with answer boxes for students to type their answers.
