I created this PowerPoint to teach about some of the common values of Buddhism to my students. Each slide of the PowerPoint includes an image (or multiple images) that I asked my students to observe and analyze for a minute or two. Then, they wrote reactions to the images on a piece of paper, which they threw into the middle of our circle (I arranged the desks in a large circle to facilitate a snowball discussion). After all "snowballs" (papers with student responses crumpled up into a ball) were in the middle, students grabbed a random "snowball" and we had a brief discussion that started with someone sharing a response they picked up. Students were to respond to the guiding questions on each slide.
