This activity is aligned with Common Core Standards and the Pearson Reading Street Series (2011 and 2013). This is a great activity for partners to work together to practice answering text-based evidence comprehension questions. The task card guides students through the story and encourages discussion. The answer key is included and a task card for students to work independently in the center or station. This can be used as a Daily 5 station for read-to-someone. This activity uses the main selection for Unit 3 Week 2 of Reading Street (Third grade).
This activity helps students prepare for the Scott Foresman Reading Street Weekly Tests for College and Career Readiness and Benchmark Tests for College and Career Readiness (2013 Pearson CCR tests).
