PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This lab is a physical way to demonstrate the ideas of Natural selection. The students act like birds to hunt bugs out of the multi-colored forest.

The class can then see how natural selection affects traits in a population, and model the ideas of Darwinian evolution. This also demonstrates survival of the most adapted (or fittest).

This is a great 1 day lab for those odd days before the breaks and when the sport teams leave.

Key Word: Evolution, natural selection, artificial selection, Darwin, biology, traits, survival of the fittest, survival of the most adapted,
