Bugs and Insects Unit

Dr. Jean and I had fun putting together this unit that includes everything you need to teach your students about Bugs and Insects, and we hope you enjoy using it to teach your students! The packet begins with a quick overview about insects. It includes a Bug and Insect Prezi with videos, stories, songs, and games. The packet also includes eight of our favorite hands-on activities about bugs. The packet also includes Bug and Insect QR Codes that you can make into a Listening Center, and Writing Prompts to go with the QR Codes. The QR Codes include scientific videos about different bugs and insects, as well as bug related literature for children. Finally, a download for Dr. Jean's "Insect Body" song is also included!
