Product Description
Build A Baby Genetics Activity. Great activity to use at the end of a genetics unit to show students concept of how genotypes are passed from one generation to the next, and how they translate into visible phenotypes. Coin toss system shows the 50% chances of each trait being passed from parent to child. Students complete activity in teams, and artistically interpret the data they gain to draw their 'baby's" facial features. Students are involved and excited to see their 'child's' face form. Applicable to genetics, autosomal and sex-linked traits, heredity, biology and life sciences. By Maura Bostwick Neill
