1. Write a question in each of the ten squares. Put the hardest question s in number 3 and 6.
2. Students will work to complete the question s. For each one they solve correctly, they earn the bone that is assigned to that question.
3. The goal is to get all 10 bones to build the skeleton.
I give my students the page and NOT the bones. They bring me their work to check. If it’s all correct, I give them the bones. If not, I circle what is wrong and send them back to fix it. Once they earn all the bones, they should cut them out and assemble the skeleton. The skeleton should be glued onto construction paper. I tell them to use their creativity to draw a scene instead of just simply gluing the skeleton onto the paper.
