Have the student provide a response for the task you have selected to address.
The student performs the assigned task (producing a sound, answering a question, producing a sentence using fluency strategies, etc.).
After providing a response the student taps/clicks the ornament to build the first piece of the Santa.
Continue performing tasks/responding, then clicking the ornament to add pieces to the scene until the scene is completed.
For use with a group:
Advance to page 4 of the document
Select a player to provide a response for the task you have selected to address.
The player performs the assigned task (producing a sound, answering a question, producing a sentence using fluency strategies, etc.).
The player rolls the die. If the player rolls the same number as the number that is on the sign, he/she taps/clicks the ornament to build the first piece of the Santa.
If the student rolls a number other than the number on the ornament he/she loses a turn. DO NOT tap/click the screen. Play proceeds to the next player.
In order to add a piece to the Santa the next player must roll the number that appears on the ornament. If the number on the die matches the number on the ornament, tap/click the sign.
Continue taking turns performing a task/responding until a player matches the number.
Each time a player matches a number he/she may tap/click to add to the Santa.
The player that completes the Santa scene is the winner.
