PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

WHAT IS INCLUDED?

This product includes two no-print reinforcement activities. These activities were designed as an interactive rewards game for use on iPad. There are two games included: one designed for group therapy and one designed for individual therapy.

The group Build a Virtual Scarecrow activity can be used as reinforcement with a group in almost any lesson.

The activity can be used in articulation drill, fluency, or any language activity in which students are required to take turns responding.

You will need a single 6 sided die and the worksheet, word/vocabulary lists, or language activity of your choice.

To play:
• Advance to page 3 of the document
• Select a player to provide a response for the task you have selected to address.
• The player performs the assigned task (producing a sound, answering a question, producing a sentence using fluency strategies, etc.).
• The player rolls the die. If the player rolls the same number as the number that is on the sign, he/she taps/clicks the sign to build the first piece of the scarecrow.
• If the student rolls a number other than the number on the sign he/she loses a turn. DO NOT tap/click the screen. Play proceeds to the next player.
• In order to add a piece to the scarecrow the next player must roll the number that appears on the sign. If the number on the die matches the number on the sign, tap/click the sign. Continue taking turns performing a task/responding until a player matches the number.
• Each time a player matches a number he/she may tap/click to add to the scarecrow.
• The player that completes the scarecrow is the winner.

NOTE: This activity can be used with any task , but we originally designed this reinforcer for use with our Quick Checks for Articulation and Quick Checks for Language Series. Using our Quick Check cards allows every student in the group to address his/her own specific articulation sound or language skill.
