Easy summer-themed math center materials. "Clip It" boards can be used with clothespins or math counters. We use them with dice, counters (shells, fish, etc.) or the coordinating counting cards. Students can count out the manipulatives or use number cards then clip a clothespin to the corresponding number. They are great for "counting on" practice. "Build It" boards are for use with blocks, Unifix cubes or small Legos.

Bonus 10-Frames and counting cards. The counting cards are great for memory games, too. (Just print two copies.)

Skills: Numeral identification, fine-motor development, one-to-one correspondence, number sense

Cut and laminate for durability and for use with wipe-off markers

Includes:
4 Clip It number lines
4 Build It boards
4 10-frame mats
4 sets of counting cards

Enjoy!!

Compare two numbers between 1 and 10 presented as written numerals.
Count to answer “how many?” questions about as many as 20 things arranged in a line, a rectangular array, or a circle, or as many as 10 things in a scattered configuration; given a number from 1-20, count out that many objects.
Understand that each successive number name refers to a quantity that is one larger.
Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted.
When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
