Here is a wee sample of a spreadsheet that gives students practice with the basics of Excel. There are normally at least 15 practice tasks with solutions but I am limited as to how much I can upload for the first time.
All my Excel resources are paperless with on-screen instructions and always lots of practice tasks. Created using Excel 2016 they should be compatible with older versions and work on any device. I am a Scottish teacher and have modified to change from £ to $ - I think I've changed every worksheet. Apologies if I haven't!
The full unit begins with basic formatting including font amendments, merging cells and text wrap. Tasks include inserting and deleting rows & columns, inserting text and formatting to whole numbers and currency with decimal places. Shading cells, adding lines and borders, page orientation, grid lines & headings also feature in this unit.
I hope this gives you an idea of what my resources are like. More can be found at www.buildyourskill.co.uk.
