This is a great culminating activity for an ecology unit. For this project, students are required to do the following:

-Choose a biome that their bird will live in and describe the characteristics of that biome.
-Design a bird with specific adaptations (wings, beak, feet, etc.) that will allow their bird to live successfully in that biome.
-Describe the relationships (symbiotic, competition, predator/prey) between their bird and other organisms that live in the biome.
-Draw a picture of their bird in its biome.
-Create a PowerPoint or Google Presentation displaying their work.

This product includes project directions, directions for creating a PowerPoint or Google Presentation, research/planning pages, resources for research, museum walk form, and a rubric for grading.
