This activity is such a fun, hands-on way for your kiddos to work on their letter recognition and counting skills! They will just LOVE building each letter in the alphabet! (You can use any size building blocks.) This resource is perfect for morning work, as a center game, or even to send home! This packet includes the following:

  • Uppercase letters
  • Lowercase letters
  • Black/white versions

To play, students choose a card and use the blocks to build the letter on their platform. (See photo example.) Next, they count how many blocks they used and then write the number on the card. Have fun!
