Build-a-Pizza: Following Directions

Your kids will work up an appetite as they work on their following directions skills. This pizza themed activity works on 2 and 3 step directions.

Here is How to Play:

FOR 2 STEP DIRECTIONS aka 2 STEP SLICES ( 32 cards )
-Give each student a pizza slice. Place the ingredient cards face up on the table for all the students to see.
-Have them choose a card from the the Silly Slice Recipe cards ( written in blue ) and hand it to you.
-Read them the 2 step recipe. The student is to put the right ingredients on their slice in the correct order. Some directions use concept words first, second, and next while some do not.

FOR 3 STEP DIRECTIONS aka 3 STEP PIZZA PIES ( 32 Cards )
-Give each student a whole pizza. Place the ingredient cards face up on the table for all the student to see.
-Have them choose a card from the Plentiful Pizza Recipe cards ( written in purple ) and it to you.
-Read them the 3 step recipe. The student is to put the right ingredient on their slice in the correct order. Some directions use concept words first, second, and next while some do not.

That is a total of 64 CARDS!!!
