Build a Self-Contained Ecosystem STEM Activity
Integrate STEM in your classroom and engage students with this 2 liter Ecosystem STEM Activity.. Students place seeds in a self-contained ecosystem and watch it grow over 3 weeks!
Students learn about the water cycle and small ecosystems, and then build one themselves. Each week, students can write down observations as the plant grows!
This activity helps students develop observational learning skills through watching and writing about their seed growing into a plant. Seed and Plant Illustrations aid students as they observe different parts of the plant grow from the seed.
