Do you love the game of Cootie? Then Build-a-Turkey is for you! Players take turns rolling a die and collecting their corresponding turkey body part. For example, if you roll a one, you would collect a body, or if you roll a three, then you would collect one wing, etc. If a player rolls a number that they no longer need, then their turn is over and the next person may roll. The first person to collect all of their pieces is the winner!
**Choice of Turkeys** I have included 3 types of turkeys to choose from.
#1: On page 4 is a blackline master that can be copied onto white paper so that the students may color on their own and then cut.
#2: On page 5 is a colored version that can be used with colored ink so that the only thing the students need to do is cut out the pieces.
#3: (My personal recommendation!) Pages 6-10 have one type of body part on each page so that you may print pages on whatever color cardstock or construction paper you choose. To ensure that the turkeys have a personalized look, I cut the pieces out bluntly and let the students have the job of cutting on the lines. For the 6 feathers, I do red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple.
