Description
Ready to have some Thanksgiving fun with your students? This requires very little prep and the engagement will be high! Building a turkey out of shapes in Google Slides is the focus of this activity. If you are a math teacher, you can make this academic. If you teach other subjects, make it a fun competition or just a relaxing activity for some downtime or for after a test.
Students must use all the shapes provided and color the congruent triangles/polygons using specific guidelines or you can make it creative with very little guidelines. I use this with my high school geometry class, but this could be used in lower grades that study shapes that are the same size. The word congruent might be tricky for lower grades, so make it work for your classroom.
